The Route to Parsi Cooking: From Pars to India and Beyond
When I first learned that the book had been recently released, I had to place my order!
By now you know that I am an ardent Zoroastrian and a crazy bawi, who loves anything and everything related to our rich ancestry and religion.
Given my love for food, it was but natural that I had to get my hands on this cookbook, even more so since I am miles away from home and miss the readymade Parsi food we could devour from our local favorites back home in Mumbai.
The Route to Parsi Cooking: From Pars to India
This coffee table book is by far the most accessible resource for those who may be interested in learning about the Parsi “reet-rivaj” way of life, their customs and traditions, and getting a taste of heritage and culture through food.
The cookbook contains 180 pages that have been divided into six chapters. These treasured and revived recipes are complemented by gorgeous photos, making it the perfect coffee table cookbook that everyone can easily follow and relate to, and with its warm spices and flavors take us back to our Persian roots!
Maestro Zubin Mehta has endorsed it and has written the back cover.Β
